Since 2018, I've helped Cancer Support Community of Central Indiana tell their story at their annual Laughing Matters fundraising event. This typically involves scripting a 45-minute event with multiple presenters and entertainers, as well as producing comic and inspirational videos for the show.

 

In 2020, plans for the in-person show headlined by Martin Short were stymied by the coronavirus pandemic. Over the intervening weeks, I rewrote the videos and produced the show as a virtual event that aired April 25 on Facebook Live.​

On the evening of Saturday, April 25, Cancer Support Community of Central Indiana held its 20th annual Laughing Matters VIP event—virtually. To keep the community safe from the coronavirus, Laughing Matters took place on CSC’s Facebook page and the Facebook pages of their streaming partners, WTHR TV, and WTTS, 92.3.
